About

Franklyn Grace is a professional off-Broadway musician and a creator of theatre. Her pronouns are she/they. They started singing and playing piano very early in life, and writing both music and words followed naturally. She was classically-trained in piano for fifteen years, and though she has a deep love for classical music, her favorite music to play and listen to has always been musical theatre. Franklyn got her start in professional musical theatre during her sophomore year of undergraduate school, when she was brought onto the composition team for her university's original Spring 2021 musical Still, for which she did notation work. Following that experience, she went on to write two musicals, a song cycle, and a one-act play, respectively titled: The Path Theory (Spring 2021), Tin Pan Alley (Spring 2022), Beatitudes (Fall 2022), and Congratulations (Fall 2022). Congratulations had its debut performance at Franklyn's university on April 28th, 2023.
